An embroidered Brick S patch is the focal point of a custom Starter satin bomber jacket. Brick By Brick sits adjacent on the chest, bringing the point home. The counterspaces in the Brick S represent a cruciform pattern laid in NC State’s Brickyard, one of the campus’ hallowed gathering places.
On the back “STATE” references school chants while the fight song is emblazoned in script below—albeit altered to reflect the student body’s version. Patches homage places and events of personal significance. My year of graduation sits on the left arm in chenille. On the right tricep blackletter ‘919’ honors Raleigh’s area code and a tattoo on DJ Horne who led the 2024 men’s team to the Final Four.
The script flips on an athletic gray sweatshirt reminiscent of the University’s standard issue gym attire but taken to another level with puff printing for a brick-like impression.
